  • Use a damp cloth with mild soap and water or isopropyl alcohol to clean Noraxon EMG & IMU sensors
  • DO NOT immerse EMG & IMU sensors in any water or liquid

    • DO NOT use bleach
    • DO NOT use a heated dryer to dry straps; Hang dry only

For sanitary purposes, it is advisable to clean your Noraxon EMG & IMU Sensors on a regular basis. The sensors can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth using a solution of mild soap and water or disinfectant solution that does not affect polycarbonate plastics (e.g. isopropyl alcohol). Please DO NOT use disinfectant solutions containing bleach as this will degrade the polycarbonate plastic.

Additionally, It is also important to regularly clean your myoMOTION straps to ensure top performance and sanitization. Please only machine wash straps on the delicate cycle with cold water and light soap or dry-clean. You may wash the straps in the provided mesh bag.

Noraxon sensors and straps are not warranted against exposure to any of the conventional forms of sterilization(autoclave, heating, etc.). Users wishing to utilize this equipment in a sterile environment, such as an operating theater, should consult Noraxon for other options.
