Ultium Motion is the most advanced inertial motion capture system on the market, engineered to deliver reliable, research-grade 3D kinematic data in real-world conditions. Built around a high-performance sensor architecture and powered by Noraxon’s MR software, Ultium Motion maintains accuracy across all movement types—including high-velocity and high-impact tasks—while supporting seamless multi-device data collection through the Ultium receiver.
The small water-resistant sensors and updated straps allow for more natural movement to be captured while key technological advantages are sustained, including 10+ hour battery runtime, lossless data capture, and robust wireless communication.
With the Ultium Motion system, users will be able to capture 3D kinematics, acceleration, and joint trajectories for the purpose of measuring changes in movement patterns during a variety of applications. Ultium Motion is also available in the Ultium Portable Lab.

Virtual Calibration Adjustment Tool
The Virtual Calibration Tool, exclusive to Noraxon, refines IMU calibration after capture when a true neutral posture isn’t possible. This tool allows visual landmark adjustments and frame-based correction to improve joint angle accuracy without repeating the trial.

Natural Movement Capture
Lightweight, water-resistant sensors secured in low-profile strap-based cradles are designed to move with the subject, enabling natural movement while maintaining reliable 3D motion capture in both lab and real-world settings.
