Pressure Platforms

forZe PDM-XS Pressure Platform

Analyze the distribution of static and dynamic forces during standing or walking with 1,920 individually-calibrated capacitive sensors in force measuring pressure plates. Quickly and efficiently conduct stance tests, roll-off patterns or balance and equilibrium analyses. Diagnose foot deformities, foot function and stance. Carry out any number of stance tests, roll-off patterns or balance/equilibrium analyses.

  • Load sequence feedback
  • Evaluation reports that show maximum pressures, force curves and individual phases of the roll-off pattern
  • Analysis of static load distribution
  • Gait velocity, variable velocity, step time, swing time, stance time, single support time, double support time, step length, stride length, step width, butterfly table, forces and average of forces.

forZe PDM-L 1.25 Pressure Walkway

Our largest, most robust pressure walkway delivers perfectly synchronized data through myoPRESSURE and the myoRESEARCH® software platform. The PDM-1.25 measurement platform is equipped with 8064 sensors and measures 125 x 48cm. Consisting of a multitude of individually calibrated capacitive force sensors, these platforms enable an analysis of the distribution of static and dynamic forces under the feet during standing or walking. Foot deformities, foot function, and stance can all be analyzed. Any number of stance tests, roll-off patterns or balance/equilibrium analyses can be accomplished quickly and efficiently.

Applications

Gait Analysis for PT/OT

Gait Analysis for PT/OT

Pressure Walkways allow objectification of every step parameter, analysis of any area on the plantar surface, facilitates identification of gait abnormalities and delivers automated history reporting and progress tracking for even the most functional or dynamic movements.

Sports medicine, running health and injury prevention

Sports medicine, running health and injury prevention

Measure impact forces and dynamic pressure distributions during running or any other sport-related activity. Program functions assess efficiency, run styles and balance, which can be added to screening and injury prevention programs while maintaining complete freedom of movement.

Fitting of Prosthesis and Orthotics

Fitting of Prosthesis and Orthotics

Note the continuous center of pressure and pressure point deviations; identify how devices or shoe mechanics alter patient kinematics; justify adjustments or test orthotics; and aid in the perfection of prescriptions.

Integrated Biomechanics

Integrated Biomechanics

Add EMG and any other clinical biomechanical sensor (goniometer, accelerometer, inclinometer etc.), integrated 2D video recording or even 3D kinematic analysis to assist in the identification of motor pathologies and the connection to the kinematic chain. Perform in-depth analysis of gait timing and muscle amplitude, or curve characteristics as the software normalizes EMG traces automatically based on the force values and displays in real-time bilateral and unilateral gait reports.

Screening of Diabetics

Screening of Diabetics

The pressure treadmill locates peak pressure points, high force areas, and measures the efficacy of unweighting. It can also be used to assist in retraining compensation patterns.

Neuropathic Patient Analysis

Neuropathic Patient Analysis

The ability to note balance changes and critical directions of force makes pressure walkways an ideal diagnostic tool for patients with any range of neurological disorders or deficits. An additional benefit is correlation of the highest pressure areas and loading responses.
