Product Overview
MyoResearch XP Basic is the economic edition of Noraxon's data
analysis and acquisition software packages. It is designed to perform
basic EMG and sensor investigations. The option to upgrade to MyoResearch
XP Master Edition is available at any time. MyoResearch XP Basic
Edition is configured with the most commonly used EMG data acquiring,
processing and analysis routines. Any combination of up to 32 channels
can be freely configured to measure EMG, biomechanical sensors and
Noraxon amplifier signals; these configurations can be stored for
future use.

Anatomical maps simplify the muscle choice. Any
configuration can be stored for continuous use.

|

The measurement monitor can display all signal
traces in synchronization to digital video.

|
Data Acquiring and Management
The raw data recording can be combined with synchronized digital
video recording. Any video camera connected via USB or FireWire
interface is supported. The database system is designed for multimedia
file management and allows the combined management of data records,
videos, pictures and RTF documents (like MS Word). Comprehensive
export/import functions are supported for flexibility in data communication
between various programs.

|
Signal Processing Routines
For post hoc processing, numerous signal processing options such
as digital filters, MVC-normalization or the unique ECG removing
routines are supported. Synchronized digital videos are used to
define analysis periods in complex movements. Rescaling, zoom and
overlay functions allow for a quick analysis of selected record
intervals.

Free to combine signal processing routines with
save/load function.
- Full wave rectification
- Smoothing RMS and moving Average
- Filter database: with bandpass, FIR, IIR, Median
- MVC / to mean normalization
- ECG removing

Analysis Reports
MyoResearch XP Basic Edition offers a set of predefined standard
reports covering the most commonly used amplitude and frequency
calculations. A key feature in the program design is the sophisticated
period definition system for analysis period. It can be combined
with a trigger to analyze TTL / foot switch, angle or other movement
signals. Pre-configured analysis frames can be customized by mouse
click. Analyses graphs can be compared to graphs from other records
(curve over plot, test and retest comparison, etc.). An integrated
normative data menu allows a quick generation of normative databases.
Export routines to clipboard (excel, etc.) or as internet compatible
HTML document allow an external exchange of findings.

|
Pre-configured Analysis Reports:
|
|
|
- EMG standard amplitude analysis
Peak, min/max value calculation
- Frequency/Fatigue analysis
Median, mean frequency and slope calculation
- Spectrum report
Total power spectrum and frequency distribution
- Average EMG patterns
Time normalized averaged curves
