Therapeutic Concept
The measurement concept is designed as an integrated tool that allows therapy control and
optimization. All measures can be performed directly before, within, or directly after treatment
- The referring medical doctor or therapists can receive immediate feedback about therapy efficiency and progress
- Gait Analysis is directly integrated within gait training
- The integrated patient lift and unweighting systems allows the user to safely activate and treat even difficult patients in early post-operative or post-traumatic phases
- The fully mobile patient unweighting systems combined with the mobile telemetry allows the use of equipment in a variety of other exercises and treatment regimes

Module Instrumented Treadmill
/ Floor Gait Plate
The core unit is a treadmill instrumented with a 1.5 m long and 55 cm wide pressure distribution gait plate (1 sensor per cm2 ) developed by Zebris Medical
- The gait plate measures the resulting vertical force curve and the kinematic
gait line of the center point of pressure
- Each footprint is detected and can be analyzed separately
- The force plate always measures two (or more) valid strides which are used to automatically compile a very comprehensive gait report
- The instrumented treadmill can also be used for static balance testing
- As an alternative to using a treadmill, an up to 5 meter long floor gait plate can be used to measure the "natural gait" patterns.

Module Patient Lift & Unweighting
Due to integration of the mobile lift and unweighting system, LITEGAIT from the market leader MOBILITY RESEARCH INC is guaranteed to be the perfect link to versatile and safe therapy setups.
- The Litegait system allows the user to lift even heavily injured or disabled patients to a
standing position and move them onto the treadmill (or other devices like vibration plates, etc...)
- The amount of unweighting and symmetry can be controlled by a built-in electronic scale system
- The LITEGAIT unweighting system has been proven as a very versatile tool for many other therapeutic exercises in active rehabilitation concepts

Module Telemetry for SEMG &

The gait concept is equipped with a Bluetooth/WiFi driven interface that creates full compatibility to the EMG and sensor line of the market leader NORAXON INC: up to 8 EMG sensors or other biomechanical sensors like angle, acceleration, or inclination can directly be integrated to the gait analysis and gait training

- A special and exclusively manufactured telemetric interface box allows a parallel and time synchronized recording of up to eight SEMG channels
- The automatic gait report creates a simple but meaningful EMG analysis based on averaged EMG activation patterns.
- An export module allows for the integration of all measurement curves (force included) into the powerful EMG analysis software MyoResearch XP - here almost all estalished analysis routines can be performed
- The EMG-amplifiers and sensors can also be used with 4, 8 and 16 channel systems of Noraxon‘s powerful product line. In conjunction with numerous ready-to-go application protocols and reports like Muscle Function Tests, EMG-Isokinetics, Fatigue Analysis or Biofeedback training, a versatile use is guaranteed

Module Documentational Video and 2D Video-Analysis
The basic gait analysis concept is already equipped with a time synchronized DV video. For more sophisticated video analysis like 2 to 4 camera perspectives, High Speed and video analysis modules, the powerful video package TEMPLO from CONTEMPLAS is integrated into the lab concept.

Video based 2D-Kinematic
- The video system allows for the use of up to 4 DV camcorder (60 Hz) or High Speed cameras (max 200 Hz.)
- TEMPLO enables a variety of 2D video-based analysis functions, like stroboscope, angular analysis, auto-marker tracking etc...
- Pressure distribution or EMG data can directly be measured with the TEMPLO software and then exported to NORAXONs analysis software MyoResearch XP
- Templo can be used as a stand-alone analysis for a variety of protocols and application areas
