Clinical Applications of SEMG
Following great response and attendance during our SEMG Seminar in Warsaw and Poznan, Poland in 2008, PHU Technomex, in cooperation with Targi Kielce, is organizing another great event dedicated to clinical applications of Surface EMG. Save these dates on your schedule:
2-Days Physiotherapy in Kielce: Scientific Program
Theory and Practical Approach of SEMG in Various Orthopaedic and Sports Applications
April 1st, 2009
Conference Room CK 2
Lecturer: Mr. Todd Shewman
Please, visit the website www.targikielce.pl to register for the seminar.
SEMG User Meeting
April 2nd, 2009
Join us and share your clinical experience and SEMG knowledge with other clinicians and scientists
Topics of discussion covered during this meeting will be determined based on the interest and clinical application of the participants. We are accepting suggestions for topics to be discussed during the Users Meeting until March 20th. Among other subjects, we will be covering signal analysis and application of SEMG biofeedback.
Mr. Todd Shewman will be moderating this discussion and sharing his experiences in the field as well. Lectures will be in English with translation to Polish. To register for this meeting, please contact Mr. Remik Rzepka at +48-694-483-121 and/or email at remik@noraxon.pl
Practical Aspects Related to the Application and Use of SEMG in Physical Therapy
April 3rd, 2009
The seminar will focus on practical applications of quick and easy measurements (5-10 minutes) to gain objective data on muscle function. The primary idea is to establish objective kinesiological measurement routines as well as SEMG-feedback strategies in orthopaedic settings that are both quick and clinically meaningful.
Participants will have the opportunity to perform measurements on their own and have hands on practice. Active users will have the opportunity to share their expertise, whereas beginners interested in kinesiological measurements will receive a comprehensive introduction to Kinesiological EMG.
To register for this meeting please contact Mr. Remik Rzepka at +48 694 483 121 and/or email at: remik@noraxon.pl All participants are welcome to bring their own clinical cases and share their experience with other users of SEMG systems.
