Surface EMG Assisted Rehabilitation: Muscle Imbalance and Orthopedic Dysfunction

Glenn Kasman, MS, PT is the Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Good Samaritan Community Healthcare in Puyallup, WA. Mr. Kasman is also a member of the clinical faculty at the University of Washington and has been a board member of the Surface EMG Society of North America as well as other clinical, editorial and advisory boards.

Mr. Kasman is a former chairman of the Administrative Special Interest Group and Reimbursement Committee of the Physical Therapy Association of Washington and received that association’s Physical Therapist of the Year Award in 2000. He has authored and co-authored research, informational articles, several book chapters, and a two-volume textbook series on SEMG. Mr. Kasman has extensive experience speaking to clinicians nationally and internationally on topics incorporating SEMG in orthopedic, neurological, pain management, sports medicine, and work injury settings.
