Noraxon Releases TeleMyo 2400T and TeleMyo 2400R Telemetric EMG
Systems
Scottsdale, Ariz. (April 23, 2003) – Noraxon U.S.A., Inc. announced today the
release of their latest generation of telemetric surface and fine-wire electromyography
(EMG) systems: the TeleMyo 2400T and TeleMyo 2400R. Both systems combine high-quality,
scientifically reliable data with great flexibility and ease of use for professionals
measuring muscle activation patterns and intensity during functional movements.
| The TeleMyo 2400T system sends real-time EMG and other analog signals
up to 100 yards by wireless transmission allowing for safe data collection
in real-life settings, such as a construction site, sports field or biomechanics
lab. The system includes an 8- channel transmitter unit, PC radio receiver
card, pre-amplified electrode cables, battery charger, system case, and
belt-worn carrying pouch. Combined with the user’s choice of laptop or desktop
computer, the TeleMyo 2400T creates the complete telemetric EMG system.

| The TeleMyo 2400R is an additional accessory that provides a convenient
way to interface the TeleMyo 2400T transmitter with an existing analog data
acquisition system. This option will appeal to users of motion measurement
systems or those who have already developed their own analog data capture
or analysis software. |
 TeleMyo 2400R |
The TeleMyo 2400T and 2400R are designed to function either in stand-alone mode or with other analog systems. Typical interfaces include motion measurement systems, isokinetic devices, force plates, and Noraxon’s expanding line of biomechanical sensors such as electronic goniometers, potentiometers and footswitches.
